Sling TV is celebrating the holidays with a rate increase that goes live today

Happy Holidays! Sling TV has given you a gift with a price increase of $6 per month. As we reported last month, new pricing begins today for all Sling packages – Sling Orange, Sling Blue, and the Sling Orange and Blue combo package. The cost per month for the three packages is now $46, $51 and $66 respectively, with half off the first month.

Sling attributes the increase to rising program costs that are “far above inflation.” It also notes that “these increases are industry-wide” and “Sling continues to be the cheapest option, offering more than $20 less per month compared to other providers.” It’s worth noting that Sling will launch later in 2024 has added features including 4K streaming of major sporting events such as the MLB All-Star Game, the postseason and World Series, the 2024 Paris Olympics and the US Open in select major markets.

The Orange and Blue packages offer a different selection of channels, with Sling Orange including ESPN, ESPN and ESPN 3, making it more suitable for sports fans, while Sling Blue delivers your news from MSNBC, HLN and Fox News.
