Snowstorm impacts Thursday morning commute in Minnesota. Here’s a look at the road conditions.

MINNEAPOLIS – There is a NEXT Drive Alert on Thursday the biggest snowstorm so far this seasonwhich makes for some rough road conditions in the Twin Cities.

There are dozens of problems on snow-covered roads in the Twin Cities Thursday morning, including multiple accidents, skid damage and bent fenders. Visibility is also a problem. If you can work from home, this would be the day to stay.

The plows are working hard, so give them space while they clear the streets.

A ground delay was imposed at MSP Airport until approximately 10 a.m. due to traffic backing up near the airport on Highway 62 due to a spinout.

In Shakopee, the northbound ramp from Highway 169 to Highway 101 is closed after a vehicle entered a ditch and another came to a stop.

A school bus also veered off Highway 100 near the Robbinsdale-Brooklyn Center border.

There is also traffic backup on northbound Highway 169 near Excelsior Boulevard in Hopkins due to an accident.
