Squid Game's creator says that main character Gi-hun "will no longer be the man he was in Season 2" once Season 3 arrives

Squid Game Season 2 only released a few days ago, but I and many others have already finished it, and its creator is also teasing us with details about the third season.

I finished all seven episodes of the latest season of Squid Game in just a few sittings and loved it the entire time. It may have started slower than the previous season, but the action-packed finale had my heart racing the entire time. The main character Gi-hun’s (Lee Jung-jae) plans to stop the game from within and without have all failed. He couldn’t convince people to vote to stop them, his boat crews appear to have a treacherous captain, and his armed rebellion was brought to a bloody end with his best friend Jung-bae (Lee Seo-hwan) killed right in front of him was from him. So where does he go from here?

In an interview with diversityHwang Dong-hyuk, creator of Squid Game, said: “As for the plot of the third season, Gi-hun lost everything, including his best friend, and all his attempts failed. Who would be the same after going through all this? Gi-hun has been significantly changed by the events of the first season, which is why he is now so desperate to stop the games. You may have noticed this Mid-credit scene which aired shortly after Jung-bae’s death, and Hwang explains, “Watching this clip will give you a little hint of where Season 3 might take you.” I think that’s all I can say for now.” The clip shows the scary robot from the game “Red Light, Green Light” facing off against another robot, so it looks like it’s a twist on the classic will give.
