Sydney Brown will play Commanders – NBC Sports Philadelphia

LANDOVER, Md. – Eagles safety Sydney Brown will be active for Sunday’s game against the Commanders at Northwest Stadium.

Brown was officially listed as questionable over the weekend, but was able to clear the NFL’s concussion protocol and will be able to play in this game. Brown suffered a concussion in the opening game against the Steelers last week.

Here is the full list of inactive Eagles:

WR Britain Covey (neck)
QB Tanner McKee
OL Trevor Keegan
OL Darian Kinnard
OL Nick Gates
CB Eli Ricks

The Eagles on Friday ruled out Covey, who will miss his third straight game with this neck injury. In his place, nickel cornerback Cooper DeJean was the punt returner.

On Friday, the Eagles also ruled out DE Bryce Huff, who is not yet back on the 53-man roster. The Eagles activated Huff’s practice window later in the week when he returned from wrist surgery. You must activate it within the next two weeks.

Fullback Khari Blasingame is active for this game after being promoted from the Eagles on Saturday. This is Blasingame’s third and final promotion this season. While Blasingame has only played one offensive snap in the last two games, he has been a big contributor on special teams.

Zach Ertz (concussion, shoulder) is active for Washington.
