Taylor Swift fans sing “Thank You” to a standing ovation at the penultimate Eras Tour show

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour just wrapped up its penultimate show in Vancouver, BC, and Swifties were just as emotional as their idol. Swift has been greeted with deafening screams every night of her show, but last night was a little different as the crowd erupted in chants of “thank you.”

The 34-year-old pop star was overwhelmed by the crowd and in awe of her fans’ enthusiasm. Earlier that evening she told them how much this tour meant to her. “This tour has taken three years of my life when you think about the planning and then the rehearsals and then being on this tour for a year and eight months,” she said. “When I look at this audience, I always think about how incredibly fortunate, grateful and lucky we are to be spending our last weekend here in Vancouver.”

During the show, she told her fans how much she appreciated the support she had on the tour, saying, “I never wanted it to end because you guys made it a wonderful experience.”

Their historic tour ends tonight with a third and final show in Vancouver. The highest-grossing tour of all time is the first to gross more than $1 billion. Swift is also credited with helping to boost the economies of not only the cities but also the countries in which she performed.
