She knows her fans all too well.
Taylor Swift thanked her fans for making the Eras Tour a “wonderful experience” before her final show in Vancouver, Canada.
“This is the funniest, most joyful, most exciting, most intense, most powerful and most wonderful tour I’ve ever done and it’s all because of the way you handled it,” the “Bad Blood” singer said on the night in front of a sold-out audience at two of their concerts at Rain City, according to a video shared on X.
“There’s a reason why this is the longest tour I’ve ever done. I’ve never played so many shows on one tour before and that’s just because I really never wanted it to end because you guys made it such a wonderful experience on stage for all of us.”
Swift, 34, praised her fans for creating their own “traditions” for her long journey, including making friendship bracelets to swap with others.
“I wrote a line in a song that says, ‘Make the friendship bracelets,’ and I came to the first show of the Eras tour and you guys made friendship bracelets, you trade friendship bracelets, you make friends, and now I have this Feeling, friendship bracelets, you kind of made that idea synonymous with the Eras Tour,” she said.
“That’s a pretty wild thing to do – and that’s just one of them.”
The “Cruel Summer” singer kicked off her Eras tour in March 2023 in Glendale, Arizona.
After more than 150 shows on five continents, the record-breaking tour, representing ten different “eras” of her career, concludes with a final performance on December 8th in Vancouver.
Now that the trip is coming to an end, Swift will reportedly take plenty of time to relax and focus on her romance with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, who she has been dating since last summer.
“Taylor is exhausted,” a source told Us Weekly Tuesday. “She’s looking forward to some relaxation and downtime.”
“Taylor plans to stay home and hibernate (with Travis) for a while,” the insider added.
A second source told the outlet that Kelce, 35, and the pop star “want to do ‘normal things’ as a couple.”
“Taylor and Travis really want to spend quality time together because that’s when the little nuances of a person’s personality and habits come into play. They will learn so much from each other,” the insider added.
The power couple will reportedly settle into their Missouri mansion until the end of Kelce’s season before splitting time between Swift’s apartment in New York City.
