Teoscar Hernandez posts an Instagram story hinting at the Dodgers’ signing

Hernández signed a one-year contract with the Dodgers last offseason after his free agency didn’t pan out the way he hoped. Hernández wanted to restore his value in Los Angeles this year, and that’s exactly what he did.

Hernández had a career year across the board, slashing .272/.339/.501 with 33 home runs and 99 runs batted in. He made his second career All-Star team, won the Home Run Derby and played a crucial role in the Dodgers’ run to the World Series. In the postseason, Hernández had three home runs, 12 RBIs and an OPS of .769.

In addition to his performance on the field, Hernández immediately became a fan favorite and in the clubhouse. Hernández brought the energy that this team had been lacking over the last two years and repeatedly came into play in crucial moments.

Dodger fans are demanding LA bring back the fan favorite. It seems that this move by Hernández himself has finally borne fruit.
