The Blue Bloods series finale scene shows a tense discussion in Frank Reagan’s office about the mayor

It will definitely be juicy Blue blood Series finale when it comes to Mayor Peter Chase’s storyline.

In a new clip from the finale released ahead of Friday, December 13’s episode, Tom SelleckFrank Reagan gets a little heated when discussing the mayor’s plans.

“What did the mayor say?” DCPI Garrett Moore asks Frank in the scene.

“OK, I’ll tell you what he said, but never leave this room,” he replied.

“Copy this,” says Lieutenant Sid Gormley before sitting down at the table.

“But I want to remind you that I’m not a cop,” Garrett says, to which Sid replies, “Would you shut up and just listen?”

“The mayor reminded me that in his absence the public advocate is in charge,” Frank said.

“It was his duty and the right thing to do,” Garrett said.

“Yeah, but then he said ignore all calls and postpone all requests to meet,” Frank says, telling Garrett, “I think this is where you decide whether you stay or go.”

The clip sparked backlash from fans upset that CBS canceled the show after 14 successful years.

“I’m so disappointed this show is coming to an end,” one commenter wrote. “I felt like there was still life in this series, I’m just dreading the final episode on Friday night. I hope they finish everything well and don’t disappoint the fans.”

“CBS canceling Blue Bloods is still mind-boggling,” another person said. “The best TV show on Friday evenings at 10 p.m. There should have been at least three more seasons.”

Based on photos released by CBS ahead of the episode, we already know that Peter ends up in the hospital with a bloody wound. Frank visits him in the hospital and receives a request from the mayor.

“I don’t think I can do this, Mr. Mayor,” Frank tells the mayor, played by Dylan Walsh, in a clip from the finale released on Tuesday, December 10th.

“You can; you’ve done it to me a million times. Get us out of here,” he says to Frank.

Later in the episode, the duo will attend a funeral along with the rest of the Reagan family. It’s been the hot topic of conversation surrounding the series – who will die in the series finale. We can rule out that Peter dies because he attends the funeral despite the shoulder injury.

Filming the final episode of the hit series brought many cast and crew members to tears.

“During those 14 years, at critical times – not just during the show’s existence, but across our state – Tom had a knack for showing up to work and delivering a message, and often not even in his own words. He quoted various things to give us something to think about and focus on what is important. It was something magical,” Donnie Wahlberg told diversity on Thursday. “When they said, ‘It’s over,’ we all waited.”
