The Boston Bruins lose 5-1 to Seattle Kraken as Björkstrand scores two goals

SEATTLE – Oliver Bjorkstrand scored two goals and Philipp Grubauer made 33 saves as the Seattle Kraken defeated the Boston Bruins 5-1 on Thursday night.

Jaden Schwartz and Vince Dunn also scored for the Kraken. Jared McCann scored an unanswered goal and an assist, and Shane Wright added two assists.

Brad Marchand scored a penalty Boston in the second period.

Seattle took a 2-0 lead early in the first round. Björkstrand scored on a power play 24 seconds into the game, just eight seconds after David Pastrnak received a double minor for high sticking. About five minutes later, Schwartz backhanded the puck over goaltender Joonas Korpisalo.
