Smoke and fire were reported near the Bryant Park Holiday Market.

The open-air market, which spans 40th to 42nd Streets between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, is home to dozens of artisans from around the world.

Video posted by Eugene McGuire on X shows large flames rising from several stands.

It is unclear where and how the fire broke out and whether there were any injuries.

This is breaking news. Check back for updates.

Just last week, a fast-spreading fire ravaged part of the Herald Square Holiday Market, destroying at least four vendors and wreaking havoc on small business owners.

One firefighter suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

FOX 5 NY spoke to several small business owners who were devastated that their stands had been destroyed.

“I cried,” said Slivus Duspiva, whose stand full of handmade ornaments was reduced to ash and rubble.

Duspiva told FOX 5 his family invested more than $10,000 in rent, hoping holiday sales would cover the cost.
