The Buffalo Bills QB played most of 2024 injured

Josh Allen broke more than a dozen NFL records this season. They aren’t the only things he broke.

According to NFL.com reporter Ian Rapaport, the Buffalo Bills quarterback played most of the season with a broken left hand.

National media members and NFL executives are ready to present Allen with the MVP trophy, and that was before news broke that he had broken his hand.

Allen suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of Buffalo’s Week 1 win over the Arizona Cardinals. He flew over a Cardinals defender and plunged into the end zone for a 6-yard touchdown run. Allens The right elbow landed on his left hand as he landed on the ground. His hand and wrist were taped by team trainers, but he didn’t miss any plays.

“I’m fine,” Allen told reporters after the game, adding that he will undergo X-rays and further tests. “I’m not a doctor, I just landed on it.”

Allen was listed on the injury report the following week but was a full participant every day. For most of the season, he wore a white glove and had tape on his non-throwing hand.
