IN ORDER. Good afternoon everyone. We’re watching some rain move in in just a few hours, but even more so this will be a bigger problem for us tomorrow morning. THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKS NOW. I’ll just drive to our west. So we don’t quite see any yet. So I watched this all morning. So out near LAFAYETTE and watching some rain. BUT FOR US WE ARE STILL DRY. Take a few hours. So I say that between 1 and 3 p.m. we will start to monitor developments on the north coast. So the south coast is still fine. WILL REMAIN MOSTLY CLOUDY SIDE. We could see a few showers forming there on the bayou. But as we get later into the day and progress through the evening, it is still dry on the south bank at 6pm. We may see a few small showers, but the majority of the activity will be on the north coast as we head. IN THE EARLY PARTS OF THIS RAIN. IT’S 8:00 PM HERE. WE SEE A BETTER CHANCE OF THE RAIN TURNING TO THE SOUTH. But it will rain the heaviest here. This will occur as soon as we reach midnight and the morning hours of your Thursday begin. So I’m hoping to move out around 10am, but the morning commute will indeed be chaotic. So it’s midnight when the front passes through here. VERY HEAVY RAIN PASSES THROUGH. It’s 2 a.m. and we’re already approaching the New Orleans area. NOT cut off all the way down towards Grand Isle of Feet. NOT YET, BUT IF WE PRESS THIS DOWN FURTHER. 5am, many of us will observe some clearing on the north bank at 5am. As of 6 a.m., lingering showers remain, but most of the heaviest rain will only be on the south bank. So when you look at the Houma golden meadow, you can see that it is raining heavily. This still lasts until 8am, and as mentioned, most of us are fine by around 10am. BUT A LOT OF IT, THE FINAL LITTLE PARTS, WILL BE RELEASED UNTIL WE MAKE IT TO LUNCH. AFTER THAT THE REST OF THE DAY LOOKS OKAY. ALSO GOES TO THE REST OF THURSDAY AND ALSO INTO FRIDAY. Friday will actually be a little cooler. Precipitation totals right now are around up to an inch, half an inch, up to an inch, maybe even a little more in some places depending on whether it rains on and off. SAME JOBS AND IN SUCH A SHORT TIME. So again, a lot of this will happen in the night hours. BUT WE’RE NOT DONE WITH THE RAIN YET. WE TAKE A LITTLE BREAK ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. HALF OF THURSDAY, FRIDAY AND YOUR SATURDAY. BUT BY THE START OF NEXT WEEK we are already anticipating an impact day on Monday due to the excessive amount of rain. What I can show you is how much rain we expect over the next seven days. For us, about 3 to 5 inches is possible. On the way it rains so heavily that the weather becomes unstable. BEGINNING OF NEXT WEEK. YOUR TEMPERATURES NOW 50 SECONDS. We are close to reaching the highs of the day. The wind has now changed. WE’RE NOW SEEING WINDS FROM THE SOUTH EAST WHICH WILL WARM US UP A LITTLE AND ALSO MAKE THINGS APPEAR A LITTLE MORE HUMID. This morning they just came from the east. Partly cloudy skies can be expected at the beginning, but increasing cloudiness as the day progresses. Temperatures are warm to seasonal, with highs in the upper 60s. Rain moves in this afternoon and evening and returns overnight into Thursday morning. In some places there could be up to 2.5 cm of rain. Timing of rain: Now until 6pm: Rain is starting to fall on the north coast. 6 p.m. to midnight: Rain moves in on the south coast, isolated. Midnight to 6 a.m.: heavy rain moves in on the north coast. 2 a.m. to 9 a.m.: heavy rain moves in on the south coast. Once the rain moves through, expect partly cloudy weather the rest of your Thursday. However, once the front passes, temperatures will drop throughout the day. Expect a windy day as afternoon temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s. Cold temperatures return overnight Thursday into Friday with lows in the 30s and 40s. Highs on Friday will only reach the 50s. If you head out to the Children’s Hospital Christmas Parade at 11 a.m. Saturday, the weather should remain dry and slightly cool.

• 2 a.m. to 9 a.m.: Heavy rain moves into the south coast

Once the rain moves through, expect a partly cloudy remainder of Thursday. However, once the front passes, temperatures will drop throughout the day. Expect a windy day as afternoon temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s.
