The ending of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 1 and what to expect from Pushpa 2

The Pushpa brand is celebrating a comeback and how! Telugu superstar Allu Arjun and director Sukumar’s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is all set for a grand worldwide release on December 5. As Pushpa fans eagerly wait for the much-awaited sequel to hit theaters, let’s take another look at ‘Pushpa 1: The Rise’ and the premise envisaged in it Part 2.

END OF PUSHPA: THE RISE

What seemed like a fairytale ending for Pushpa Raj (played by Allu Arjun), a daily wage laborer who accidentally gets into the red sandalwood smuggling business, was actually the beginning of a war, setting the stage for a larger story that fans are in Pushpa 2: The Rule. The first part ended with SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (played by Fahadh Faasil) seething with anger and insults after the humiliating confrontation with Pushpa Raj.

In the final minutes of Pushpa 1, a bloody confrontation broke out between Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, the newly appointed district police commissioner, and Pushpa Raj. Pushpa, who was all set to marry his Srivalli (played by Rashmika Mandanna), was in no mood to let go of Shekhawat’s insult about his lineage. At their first meeting, Bhanwar insulted and mocked him because he was born to a father who used his mother for sexual purposes.

Pushpa agrees, but delivers a chilling monologue about his rise from poverty to power and warns Bhanwar Singh for underestimating him. Although the SP is initially dismissive, she begins to recognize Pushpa’s potential threat. After the climactic confrontation, a blood-soaked Pushpa enters the wedding venue, shocking everyone including his Srivalli. When Srivalli asks, “It’s all over, isn’t it?” Pushpa replies, “I’ve just begun,” hinting at the possibility of a much deadlier confrontation between him and his new rival.

With this, the film ends on an ominous note as Bhanwar Singh challenges Pushpa, hinting at a bigger conflict and intense rivalry in the sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule. Pushpa’s position is strong, but the fight with Bhanwar Singh promises high stakes and exciting confrontations. The cliffhanger leaves curious viewers excited to see how Pushpa’s story unfolds in the next chapter.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM PUSHPA 2?

Anyone who knows Pushpa knows that he is resilient, smart and quick to find solutions and of course he also takes risks. But one thing that angers him and stands out as his weakness is the fact that he has no inheritance. It is up to him to create one, for which he moves heaven and earth. Pushpa is born out of wedlock, which turns out to be his greatest weakness as Molleti Mohan, his stepbrother (played by Ajay), directs all the insults towards him and his mother. Not having a father to call his own, he pushed himself to create the life he imagined.

Another aspect that could be explored in Pushpa: The Rule is the indignation and anger of Dakshayani (played by Anasuya Bharadwaj), the wife of smuggler Mangalam Srinu (played by Sunil), who holds a higher position in the sandalwood smuggling syndicate. After Pushpa brutally kills Dakshayani’s brother, she is filled with rage and determined to take revenge on Pushpa. While waiting for the opportunity to strike back, she slits Srinu’s throat during an emotional confrontation with him for not punishing Pushpa for killing her brother.

Furthermore, his brother Jolly Reddy is all set for a direct clash with Pushpa after the unexpected murder of Konda Reddy (played by Ajay Ghosh). Jolly, a womanizer in the film, eyes Srivalli and suggests a one-night stand to her. A confused and frightened Srivalli finds refuge in Pushpa’s arms, where she confesses her “peelings” (read: feelings) to him for the first time. Moved by her feelings, Pushpa agrees to teach Jolly Reddy a lesson. After a physical altercation and a bloody fight, Jolly is left injured and Pushpa hurts his male ego. One possible aspect that could be explored in the sequel to the film is the rivalry between Pushpa and Jolly Reddy and how this could serve as an additional challenge in Pushpa’s life.

Even towards the end, after MP Bhumireddy (played by Rao Ramesh) appoints Pushpa Raj as the syndicate head, many dynamics change. This dynamic is explored in “Pushpa 2.” Pushpa’s life after his marriage to Srivalli will also be shown on a lighter note, with fans expecting more spotlight on Srivalli.

And for all Pushpa fans out there: Thaggede Le!
