Fitbit’s app is down across the US as users reported issues with server errors.

The outage makes it impossible to sign in to accounts and sync devices.

Fitbit’s status dashboard shows a service outage with “Device Sync/Pairing.”

“Users may have encountered errors when logging in and syncing their data between the mobile app and the tracker,” the website says.

Downdetector, a website that monitors online outages, shows that the fitness tracker began experiencing problems around 5:55 a.m. ET.

Fitbit has not confirmed the outage on its social media pages, but users have posted on X that they are unable to log in to their accounts.

An X user posted: “@FitbitSupport is your app down?” Won’t sync so I deleted it and tried reinstalling it. Now my credentials/passwords are not recognized and I get a “Server Error” message?

The company’s support page responded with a “fix” that forced the app to close “as if you were closing some open apps on your phone and restarting your phone.”

However, users noted that the issues were due to the app being “100 percent down.”

It is unclear what is causing the disruption.

Downdetector shows the outage is primarily affecting the East Coast, hitting Washington DC, New York City and Boston.

The outage map also shows Chicago, Los Angeles and Dallas also experiencing issues.
