After already climbing the high school ranks as head coach of his alma mater, former Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater may be planning another stop in the big leagues.
Bridgewater, who had just led Miami Northwestern Senior High School to its first state championship since 2019, took part in Tuesday’s episode of The Insiderswith NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport. The 32-year-old, who retired from the NFL last February, hinted at a comeback for the rest of the current season.
Bridgewater was a first-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings in 2014 and spent the 2020 season as the starting quarterback for Carolina. In his 15 games as a Panther, he rushed for a career-high 3,733 yards with 15 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
His most recent loss came in Week 5 of the 2023 season as a member of the Detroit Lions.
