The Game Awards 2024 was a much-needed conclusion to a dark year, as the ceremony was as bright and glittering as ever. It’s the 10th anniversary so we’re going BIG. Plus, it’s always good to recognize successes and take the time to reward those who made the year much better.

Ahead of the show, host Geoff Keighley was pretty tight-lipped about what to expect – but that led to some novel surprises at the awards, appearances and speeches from the presenters. The Game Awards 2024 started with something unexpected Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound discover. With a trailer filled with demons, tons of slashing swords and a few somersaults thrown in for good measure, it was definitely a lively start to the day


One step away looks great for fans of unpacking

Described as a new kind of cozy game, the revelation of One step away We really liked it unpacking vibes. Do you love stacking things? Are you a fan of organization? Are you playing mentally? Tetris when you’re trying to shove a bunch of stuff into your car? They will probably be on board.


Kill the Spire II looks extremely cool

Featuring a cast of fascinating looking characters (and a lot of geeks! We love the geeks here at GamesHub!), Kill The Spire II is coming – and it will be in early access in 2025.


Dave the Diver: In the Jungle brings us into a completely new ecosystem

Mint Rocket is back at the start – Dave the Diver: In the Jungle takes us in a whole new direction and starts in the aforementioned jungle.


Thick as thieves gets a cheeky reveal trailer

Our first look at it in a vividly lit, colorful reveal trailer Thick as thieves is finally here, offering a cheeky look at some seriously cool environments, weapons and characters.


Shadow maze gives Pacman/Horror energy

Bandai Namco presented an “alternative take on an iconic series” at the 2024 Game Awards with the world premiere of Shadow mazethat has the wildest energy – think Pacman meets the shadowy monster that haunts your nightmares. Incredible.


Steelpaws is incredibly sweet

Short and sweet, the trailer Steelpaws grabs you straight away and honestly we want to see more.


Tales from the Shire takes a closer look

With a guided look from CozyK, Tales from the Shire It looks like it will be well received by both Lord of the Rings fans and casual gamers.


Stalcraft: X-Operations made a quick appearance

With a funky looking guy racing through the streets and racing over ledges, Stalcraft X Operations looks pretty wild.

Welcome to the Midnight Murder Club! A sentence that we might not have expected at the Game Awards 2024, but which immediately has a lot of traction.


Kyora looks fascinatingly sweet

Rematch brings football online

Solasta II looks visually stunning

With a strong mystical energy and an extremely cool character design, Solasta II is aesthetically impressive and we’re excited to see more.


Harrison Ford made a surprise appearance

Sure, this isn’t exactly a gaming reveal, but NO ONE expected this legend to come out at the 2024 Game Awards Muppets Todd Howard, Troy Baker and HARRISON FORD (!!!!) made cameo appearances to present the award for best performance.
