MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) – Jaren Jackson Jr. had 21 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks, Zach Edey also scored 21 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, and the Memphis Grizzlies set a franchise scoring record by beating the reeling Toronto Raptors with 155 on Thursday night -126 defeated.

That’s the most points scored by an NBA team this season.

Desmond Bane added 19 points, Jaylen Wells scored 17 and Ja Morant had 15 points and nine assists as Memphis won for the third time in four games.

Toronto suffered its ninth straight loss, falling to 1-14 on the road. RJ Barrett led the Raptors with 27 points and Scottie Barnes added 26. Chris Boucher finished the game with 15.

Both teams played porous defense for three quarters and had each reached 100 points before the fourth quarter began. A Memphis outburst in the third pushed the lead to 22.

The 155 points were the most scored by the Raptors this season.

The Grizzlies’ previous highest point total in a game was a 152-79 victory over the Thunder on December 2, 2021. That 73-point loss remains the NBA record for largest margin of victory.
