The line-up for Kilby Block Party 2025 has been announced as it expands to four nights of music

SALT LAKE CITY – The Kilby Block Party reached new heights this year, attracting more than 25,000 visitors from around the world each day during the three-day extravaganza.

Festival organizers say the next edition is set to be “bigger and better than ever.” 75 artists will perform at the Utah State Fairpark over four days, May 15-18.

And some big names and nostalgics are coming to town.

English rockers New Order, indie group Beach House, alternative rock heroes Weezer and French electronic music duo Justice will each headline the four evenings; The organizer S&S Presents presented the line-up on Tuesday.

New Order, who celebrated the 40th anniversary of their hit “Blue Monday” last year, will host the festival’s first Thursday line-up with Devo, Future Islands and Yo La Tengo in support. Gates open at 4:00 p.m. that day.

Gates open at 11:30 a.m. every other day of the weekend. Others coming to town include IDKHOW, Perfume Genius, TV On the Radio and Wallows. St. Vincent, fresh off four new Grammy nominations tied to her latest album, “All Born Screaming,” will perform Saturday before Weezer, which will perform its pivotal “Blue Album” in its entirety.

The album celebrated its 30th anniversary earlier this year and catapulted the band to fame with hits like “Buddy Holly,” “My Name is Jonas,” “Say It Ain’t So” and “Undone (The Sweater Song).”

S&S Presents also announced Tuesday that it plans to add more space for attendees at Fairpark next spring. This will open up more water stations and places for participants to “relax or dance.” The Days of ’47 Arena is one of the park’s venues scheduled to be used for the first time in 2025, making it one of the event’s smaller stages.

A full list of Kilby Block Party 6 artists can be found on the festival’s website, where fans can also purchase tickets. Four-day tickets go on sale on Wednesday at 10 a.m. A few more artists are expected to be announced before the May event.

Organizers are now also offering travel packages for participants from abroad, including hotel and transport options. It shows how far the event has come since its launch in 2019 as a one-day party to celebrate the 20th anniversary of popular music venue Kilby Court.
