The status of Browns TE David Njoku and CB Martin Emerson Jr. for the Bengals game has been announced

CINCINNATI – The Browns are bringing back two key starters for the Bengals game today in tight end David Njoku and cornerback Martin Emerson Jr.

Additionally, the Browns confirmed cleveland.com’s earlier report that Bailey Zappe is the No. 2 quarterback today behind Dorian Thompson-Robinson. Jameis Winston, who suffered a shoulder injury against the Chiefs and was limited on Thursday and Friday after fully participating on Wednesday, is the inactive third QB.

He was listed as questionable.

Njoku was also listed as questionable due to the hamstring injury that sidelined him in the 21-7 loss to the Chiefs last Sunday and training on Wednesday and Thursday. He returned on a limited basis Friday and said he would start against the Bengals.
