The White Lotus finally drops Bombshell: Season 3 teaser trailer: Watch!

Grab your passes (and some popcorn) because it’s time to head back to the White Lotus!

Following the Season 2 finale of the hit HBO series The White Lotus In 2022, fans were shocked when the official Instagram account @streamonmax published a cryptic post on Monday morning, December 16th, announcing a major announcement.

The caption of the post, which also revealed the new poster for the upcoming season, said: “Karma is coming for everyone in an hour.” The poster itself featured a white lotus flower against a green background, paired with the same slogan: “Karma comes for everyone.” Subtle details on the poster hinted at possible plot twists – snakes camouflaged in the thread of the flower and golden outlines of buildings in the background.

Just an hour later, the secret of exactly what karma would await everyone was revealed with the release of the latest trailer for the upcoming series.

Since the HBO drama is an anthology series, each season of The White Lotus follows a new group of guests as they enjoy, or perhaps don’t enjoy, their vacation at various White Lotus resorts. While the first season was set in Hawaii and the second in Sicily, the third season will travel to Southeast Asia, and fans got a sneak peek at what exactly awaits these new guests on their journey east.

While guests are definitely in for fun and games when checking in to the White Lotus, some visitors, like Parker Posey’s character, know that “something is wrong.” Michelle Monaghan’s own character also wonders, “What the hell is this place?”, while another character comments that she “almost died today.”

Even amid the chaos, a guest, played by Aimee Lou Wood, remarks to her seemingly significant other, played by Walton Goggins, “But we paid for the room, didn’t we, baby?”

HBO announced in January that new cast members for the upcoming third season would include Monaghan, Posey, Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs and Tayme Thapthimthong.

A few weeks later, Season 3 added five more members to the cast: Goggins, Wood, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola and Patrick Schwarzenegger.

Fans will recognize at least one familiar face in the cast of the new season. In April 2023, diversity reported that Natasha Rothwell, who played spa manager Belinda Lindsey, will return for Season 3.

Because The White Lotus Since this is an anthology series, the season doesn’t necessarily start where it last left off. Series creator Mike White hinted at possible plot points for the upcoming season when he discussed each season’s themes in a Max featurette after the final episode of season two aired.
