Threat Closes San Francisco State Campus; Students were advised to shelter in place

An anonymous threat received at San Francisco State University on Thursday afternoon prompted authorities to close the campus and advise all students there to seek shelter there, authorities said.

Anyone currently on campus has been advised to “shelter in place immediately” or move to a safe location. Those who were not on campus were instructed to stay away as all activities, final exams and classes were canceled for the day.
