Tornadoes were reported in the Houston, Texas area on Saturday, December 28th

HOUSTON – Severe weather struck the Houston area Saturday, the second time in three days that storms producing funnel clouds and tornadoes were captured on video.

Tornado warnings were in effect throughout the morning and afternoon in Waller, Harris, Montgomery, Brazoria, Galveston and Liberty counties. As the storms passed, viewers took photos and videos of the storm.

We also have reports of damage, which you can see in the video window above. Reporter Michelle Choi was in a Katy neighborhood and showed this damage.

Further damage was reported

• Porter Heights in Montgomery County, where damage to mobile homes was reported
• Alvin and Liverpool, where homes were reportedly damaged

In the Winward Subdivision near Katy, a home was heavily damaged and a pickup truck was overturned.
