Trump sides with Elon Musk in legal dispute over work visas

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump weighed in Saturday on a bitter debate that has divided his traditional supporters and tech stalwarts like Elon Musk, saying he supports one special visa program This helps highly qualified workers enter the country.
“I’ve always liked the (H1-B) visas, I’ve always been for the visas, that’s why we have them” at Trump-owned facilities, Trump he told the New York Post in his first public comments on the matter since it flared up this week.

Trump’s persistent calls for a drastic curb on immigration were crucial to his November election victory against the US president Joe Biden. He has vowed to deport all undocumented immigrants and restrict legal immigration.
