UFC player Jean Silva has signed up for Fight Night in February

One of the most exciting up-and-coming featherweights is expected to return in February.

Jean Silva (14-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC) will face Melsik Baghdasaryan (8-2 MMA) 3-1 UFC) at a UFC Fight Night 252 event on February 22 at a location and venue to be announced becomes. Silva confirmed the news on social media following an initial report from Ag Fight.

Silva is undefeated in the octagon and has defeated all three of his UFC opponents. He’s coming off a TKO in Drew Dober’s Fight of the Night in July in a short-notice lightweight bout. The Fighting Nerds contender will drop back down to featherweight after dropping 1.5 pounds in weight in his knockout win over Charles Jourdain at UFC 303 in June.

Baghdasaryan will return after having several fights canceled due to injury. The 32-year-old Armenian fighter has won eight of his last nine, most recently a unanimous decision victory over Tucker Lutz at UFC on ESPN 49 in July 2023.
