United Airlines just improved wine and champagne standards with its new additions

Major airlines in the US are making bold modernizations by 2025. Delta is receiving praise for its new partnership with Shake Shackwhile Southwest Airlines eventually introduced improved seating on its flights.




United are making big improvements themselves. As well as expanding its international flights, the airline has just added some major brands to its champagne and wine range.

Let’s take a closer look at the big upgrade and new snacks passengers can expect in 2025.

United impressed passengers with the introduction of Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Champagne in Polaris Business Class

United Airlines may have outshone the competition with its recent upgrades. Announced by Live and let’s flyUnited will offer a new champagne starting January 1, 2025. The upgrade brings Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée to Polaris Business Class, along with three new wines to choose from.

The memo states: “Starting January 1, our Polaris customers will have the opportunity to enjoy Laurent-Perrier’s La Cuvée Champagne. This fresh and elegant blend of 55% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 10% Meunier is aged to perfection for four years in the Laurent Perrier house cellar. It goes wonderfully with our diverse menus or as a stand-alone toast to the friendly sky with 93 points and from Wine Spectator with a score of 91, we are proud to be the only airline in North America to serve Laurent-Perrier’s La Cuvée. Stay tuned for some exciting Laurent Perrier activations on board.”


In addition to champagne, the three new wines include:

  • Freemark Abbey Cabernet Sauvignon (California)
  • E. Guigal (France)
  • Luca GLOT (Argentina)

There are also new upgrades for United Premium Plus

Accordingly Live and let’s flyGallo Wines’ addition will also be added to those in United’s Premium Plus Economy cabin. The memo also adds that further “improvements” to food and beverages are coming in 2025.

United Airlines has also partnered with Magnolia Bakery

The sky is beautiful because United also announced a partnership Magnolia Bakery Beginning of December. As part of the partnership, United will serve banana pudding on its flights.


United’s managing director of hospitality programs said in a statement: “The only thing more iconic than Magnolia Bakery’s banana pudding is enjoying that pudding at 30,000 feet at United First – we know our customers will love it “We are transforming the way travelers eat and drink onboard, offering more variety and more upscale options with partners like Magnolia.”

Bobbie Lloyd, CEO and Chief Baking Officer of Magnolia Bakery is equally excited about the new partnership:

  • “As an avid traveler and baker, I know the important role food can play in your travels. That’s why I’m excited to introduce this new, innovative product to thousands of adventurers every year.”
  • He continued: “This is the first collaboration of its kind for Magnolia Bakery and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with United. Our team has worked for three years to develop this new banana pudding and we are excited for guests to get a sweet taste of this popular dessert in the sky.”


United will certainly take things to the next level in 2025.
