Louisville volleyball defeats Stanford in Elite 8 to earn a spot in the Final Four against Pitt

Stanford volleyball won the first set, and then Louisville won three straight sets to advance to the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament.

An ACC showdown will face Louisville in a national semifinal Thursday at the KFC Yum! on Pitt. Center.

Anna DeBeer, Charitie Luper and Sofia Maldonado-Diaz all had double-digit kills for the Cardinals against Stanford.

The Cardinals won the fourth set 25-20.

The Cardinals have four blocks in the set and 15 in the match. Phekran Kong has a game-high seven blocks and the Cardinals have an 18-13 lead.
