Warm Christmas Eve with a chance of isolated storms, calm and warm Christmas Day

FORECAST

After a noticeably warmer afternoon, temperatures are expected to be above 70°C and eventually above 60°C with partly cloudy skies on Monday evening.

Christmas Eve will feature a round of fog and morning clouds. Like today, afternoon sunshine will bring high temperatures into the mid and upper 70s. It will be warm and somewhat humid.

An isolated storm is possible Tuesday evening as a weak front triggers a line of showers and storms after 8 p.m

San Antonio will only see the end of this, with little chance for Metro. The likelihood increases east of I-35, where an isolated storm cannot be ruled out. No rain is forecast for those west of San Antonio. We’ll keep Santa updated on the weather forecast!

Some drier air is trying to get in Christmas daywhich means the day will start quietly. Even if temperatures drop a little, they will still be above average. High temperatures are expected to be around 70 degrees. Skies will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy.

Thursdaywe return to wet conditions and a chance of rain. Another storm system will help produce a few showers and even a storm or two. Skies will be mostly cloudy and temperatures will be in the 70s again. The chance of rain with this system may be higher than on Christmas Eve.
