Watch KATSEYE flawlessly recreate the iconic ‘Mean Girls’ scene at Boston’s Jingle Ball concert

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. And if you’re one of the Plastics, this can also be the perfect opportunity to practice your sultry Santa dance. Global girl group KATSEYE got into the holiday spirit on Sunday (December 15) as they performed at the TD Garden in Boston for the 2024 iHearRadio Jingle Ball concert and a bonus holiday gift for their EYEKONS fan group.

The six-member group responsible for the Popstar Academy: KATSEYE The reality show allowed time to put together a classic Christmas routine behind the scenes.

Dressed in fur-trimmed red minidresses and knee-high black boots, the six-member group paid homage to the hip-swaying “Jingle Bell Rock” number from the 2004 original Mean Girls Film with typically flawless choreo. Manon, Sophia, Yoonchae, Megan, Lara and Daniela have nailed the routine originally performed by Plastics Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried and Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan), right down to the parent-shocking double-thigh maneuver.

“Making KATSEYE happen at Jingle Ball Boston,” they captioned the video with heart and snowflake emojis. “Many thanks to all the EYEKONS who visited us this evening, we love you!!” Accordingly TeenVoguethe group’s short opening set included a number of songs from their debut EP, SIS (Soft is Strong)including “Debut,” “My Way,” “Tonight I Might,” and Touch.”

The multinational group released “Debut” in June after being brought together in the first-ever collaboration between Universal Music Group’s Geffen Records and K-pop powerhouse HYBE.
