Vince Gill and Amy Grant are among the many artists who recorded “‘Til the Season Comes ‘Round Again.”

Vince Gill was the first to record “‘Til the Season Comes ‘Round Again.” He included it on his 1993 album Let there be peace on earth. Years later, Grant included it on her 1999 album An unforgettable Christmas.

The Little River Band, Lee Greenwood, Kenny Rogers, Reba McEntire, Ronnie Milsap and many others have also left their mark on the song over the years.

Randy Goodrum co-wrote the song with John Jarvis. Goodrum talked about it in a post on his website. “I’ve always wanted to write a Christmas/holiday song that would be recorded by multiple people and played frequently during the holidays,” he explained. “’Til the Season Comes ‘Round Again” fulfilled that wish.

“We were trying to write a premise that hadn’t existed before,” he recalled. “Most holiday songs anticipate the various aspects of the upcoming Christmas, holiday events, etc. We decided to write about the final moment of the season. “A celebration of everything that just happened and a wish of goodwill until the season comes around again,” Goodrum recalled.

“We were lucky enough to have several artists record the song, and one of my favorites is by Amy Grant,” Goodrum revealed. “Amy’s masterful and moving performance, Michael Omartian’s amazing production and Ron Huff’s perfect management combine to create this gem of a recording. I am honored to have been part of this effort,” he added.
