The Golden Eagles are looking for their seventh straight win

MILWAUKEE- Marquette University women’s basketball hosts Milwaukee on Sunday, December 15 at 2:00 p.m. CT at Al McGuire Center.

All-time series against Milwaukee
• Sunday marks the 54th all-time meeting between Marquette and Milwaukee.
• Milwaukee is Marquette’s second-most common opponent behind DePaul, whom MU has played 86 times.
• Marquette leads the all-time series 33-20 and is 14-7 in home games.
• The Golden Eagles have a record of 26-1 in their last 27 meetings.

SIX WINS IN A ROW
• Marquette has won six straight after losing its first two road games of the season.
• During the six-game winning streak, the Golden Eagles have an average margin of victory of 25.5 points per game.
Skylar Forbes (16.8), Lee Volker (13.0) and Hall vice (11.8) all averaged double-digit scores in MU’s six wins this season.
• The last streak of six or more wins came in the 2023-24 season, when MU started 12-0, the best start in program history.

DEFENSE CONTINUES FOR MU
• Marquette is first in the BIG EAST and 14th nationally in field goal percentage defense (33.8 percent) and has held opponents to under 45 percent in all eight games this season.
• MU is ranked 35th nationally, allowing its opponents to score 54.8 points per game.
• The Golden Eagles have held their opponents to under 53 points four times this season and have held teams to 10 points or fewer in nine quarters this season.

• Marquette has made a total of 31 3-pointers in the last four games, including a season-high 10 in a win over Indiana State on Tuesday, Dec. 3.
