WBB travels to Bowling Green on Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT

MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University women’s basketball team travels to Bowling Green on Wednesday, December 18th at 6:00 pm CT at the Stroh Center.

SEVEN WINS IN A ROW
• Marquette has won seven straight after losing its first two road games of the season.
• During the seven-game winning streak, the Golden Eagles have an average margin of victory of 24.4 points per game.
Skylar Forbes (17.0), Lee Volker (14.1) and Hall vice (11.3) all averaged double-digit scores in MU’s seven wins this season.
• The last streak of seven or more wins came in the 2023-24 season, when MU started 12-0, the best start in program history.
• MU had a 14-game, seven-game winning streak in program history.

LEE IN THE BIG EAST’S WEEKLY ROLL OF HONOR FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE WEEK
• Senior security guard Lee Volker secured a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday for the second time in as many weeks.
• Volker posted a career-high 21 points, six rebounds, three assists and seven steals, including 19 points in the first half, against Milwaukee on Sunday.
• The Purcellville, Virginia native shot 8 of 13 (61.5%) from the floor, the best shot of her career.
• It’s the fourth straight time MU has had a player on the conference’s weekly honor roll.

DEFENSE CONTINUES FOR MU
• Marquette ranks first in the BIG EAST and 16th nationally in field goal percentage defense (33.9 percent) and has held opponents to under 45 percent in all nine games this season.
• MU ranks 25th nationally with 54.3 points per game.
• The Golden Eagles have held their opponents to under 53 points four times this season and have held teams to 10 points or fewer in 11 quarters this season.

BLOCK PARTY
• Marquette is first in the BIG EAST and 10th in the country with 5.9 blocks per game.
Skylar Forbes is second in the BIG EAST and 38th nationally with 20 blocks on the season.
• The second-year forward is second in the conference and 25th nationally with 2.2 blocks per game and recorded a career-high five blocks in a road win at Rutgers on Nov. 29, 2024.
