We see more clouds as a short wave in the jet stream oscillates over the region. This also brings a 40 percent chance of showers on Monday. Lows will be in the upper 40s and highs will reach the mid 60s. In the short term, the lows will continue to remain milder with this pattern.

A cold front is approaching on Tuesday. The chance of rain has increased to 60% with this front and therefore we need to reduce temperatures to around 68°. Expect mostly cloudy skies and showers during the afternoon hours with the best chance of precipitation overnight, into Wednesday.

The front moves in on Wednesday, increasing our chance of rain up to 80% and there is a chance of heavy rainfall. The models are still bringing about 1 to 3 inches of rain, both the American and European models show this, so we will move forward with the first alert weather day for Wednesday. It looks like the rain will continue late Wednesday afternoon into the early evening.
