What did Terry McLaurin say about the Commanders’ Week 15 win?

Terry McLaurin knows better than we do that the Commanders’ Week 15 20-19 win over the Saints was not a good win.

McLaurin also knows much better than we do that he and Jayden Daniels missed two easy touchdowns in the second half. What made matters worse was that the two plays took place on different offensive players. In fact, the Commanders easily could have scored two additional touchdowns in the second half on Sunday.

What did McLaurin say after the Commanders’ win in New Orleans that increased Washington’s record to 9-5?

• “We missed a few, myself included. We have to find a better ending. I’m just looking forward to getting back on the field with him (Daniels) and cleaning up the things we missed.”

• “That’s the type of players we are (Daniels and McLaurin). We assume that we do the things we do.

• “Game by game, to finish the season, if you want to make the playoffs, they have to be reduced to four quarters. We don’t expect any of this to be easy. We didn’t expect it to be easy at all today.”

• “I feel like we can help ourselves by limiting penalties and making tough plays. We moved the ball really well, I felt that. If you have a penalty, a missed play, that will stop some attempts.”

• “In a difficult week with Philly coming to town, we have to be at full speed for four quarters and they will play too, we know that. We’ve got to find a way to come out the other side.” “Making those plays will help us next week.”
