What is the best Christmas movie filmed in Wilmington, NC?

The holiday season is just around the corner.

Christmas carols play in every store, inviting shoppers to fill their baskets and bags with Christmas gifts. Those who didn’t deck their halls immediately after Halloween are busy hanging garland and setting up their trees, and for many it’s the time of year to curl up on the couch and watch Christmas movies.

When it comes to festive films, most people go for the old classics like It’s a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34.^Th Street” or “White Christmas” or the modern classics like “A Christmas Story”, “Elf” or “The Polar Express”.

But here in Wilmington – aka “Hollywood East” – we have our own favorites filmed right here in the Cape Fear region.
