What performance are you looking forward to?

The 2024 Billboard Music Awards are just around the corner and several of music’s biggest names will be performing some of the year’s biggest hits at the ceremony on Thursday (December 12).

The latest act to be added to the line-up is Linkin Park. The band’s recently announced performance at the BBMAs was a fitting conclusion to an explosive year for the group. As documented in a September billboard In music executive Jason Lipshutz’s cover story, the surviving members finally returned musically in 2024, when singer Emily Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain joined and released a new album. From zero, in November.

Also on the program are Fuerzo Regida; Tyla; Teddy swims; K-pop phenomena Stray Kids and SEVENTEEN; and country stars Shaboozey, Jelly Roll and Megan Moroney. All of these names have made progress billboard charts in 2024, from “Boozey’s record-breaking 19-week reign at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” to the “Chk Chk Boom” unit becoming the first group to debut at No. 1 in August with his first five charting albums on the Billboard 200.

Hosted by Michelle Buteau, the 2024 BBMAs will air at 8:00 PM ET/PT on Fox and Fire TV channels and on-demand on Paramount+. Performances will be available to rewatch once uploaded to Billboard.com and via social channels @BBMAs and @Billboard. Zach Bryan, Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen and Sabrina Carpenter are the leading finalists for the awards.
