HOUSTON – While most grocery stores and big box stores are closed on Christmas Day, you’re not completely out of luck if you need to quickly pick up something for Christmas presents or have forgotten an important ingredient for your holiday recipe.

In addition to the all-day closure on Wednesday, many major retailers and grocery stores plan to close earlier on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.

If you’re looking for a cup of coffee or some last minute shopping on Christmas Day, some stores will be open, but those that remain open should expect limited hours.

Dunkin’, Denny’s, IHOP and Waffle House locations are open. However, it’s best to call ahead and check with your local store before showing up.
