Kirill Kaprizov scored in the final minute of overtime to give the Minnesota Wild a 3-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday night in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Frederick Gaudreau and Jake Middleton also scored for Minnesota, which won its fourth straight game, with the last two coming in overtime.

Quinn Hughes and Jake DeBrusk each scored a goal for Vancouver, which earned a point to reach overtime. Each of the Canucks’ last three games went to overtime; Vancouver won the first two.

Wild goalkeeper Filip Gustavsson stopped 30 of 32 shots to secure the win. Kevin Lankinen stopped 26 of 29 shots for Vancouver.

Kaprizov scored the winning goal on a two-on-one rush into the offensive zone. Marco Rossi carried the puck across the blue line and passed to Kaprizov, who fired a one-timer from the right circle into the net, scoring his 16th goal of the season for the team.

Vancouver scored first on the power play with 11:23 left in the first period. Hughes scored his sixth goal of the season and second in his last four games with a wrist shot through traffic.

Minnesota pulled away to a 1-1 tie with 12:04 left in the second period. Gaudreau scored his fifth goal of the season on an odd rush.

The Canucks regained the lead in the final minute of the second period. Carson Soucy’s long-range shot from the point was blocked before it reached the crease, but Elias Pettersson spotted the loose puck in the slot and made a pass to DeBrusk, who buried a shot for his 11th goal. He has also scored five goals in his last three games, including a hat trick on Sunday.

The Wild quickly regrouped and tied the score at 2-2 with 18:17 left in the third period. Middleton stopped a Vancouver clearing attempt, turned to his forehand and shot from the left circle for his fifth goal.

Vancouver finished 1-3 on the power play. Minnesota went 0-1.
