Wind chill near or below zero overnight

Bitterly cold overnight

Areas along and north of Highway 20 will see lows in the single digits overnight. Areas south of Highway 20 will be a few degrees warmer, but still very cold in the double digits to low teens. Wind chill values ​​will be near or below zero in many locations Sunday morning.

Mostly sunny and cold on Sunday

Sunday will see high temperatures of over 20°C across the region as skies will be partly cloudy in the morning before becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon. Tomorrow wind chill values ​​will be around 20 degrees, so make sure you’re dressed for the weather.

Your first warning: Snow flurries are possible Sunday night and Monday morning.

There is a chance of a few flurries late Sunday evening as low temperatures fall into the low to mid teens under mostly cloudy skies. The threat of thunderstorms continues into Monday morning, so you may see a few snowflakes on your drive to work. However, if snow does fall, it will be scattered and light and will not have a major impact on your commute. Monday afternoon, severe weather will ease as highs reach the mid 20s.

The warming will be brief, however, as temperatures fall back into the upper 20s and lower 30s, with highs on Thursday and Friday with lows in the teens.
