Las Vegas, NV – A wind advisory has been issued for the Colorado River Valley in Nevada, beginning late Monday morning and continuing through Tuesday afternoon. Strong northerly winds, gusting up to 80 km/h, are expected to create dangerous conditions across the region.

According to the US National Weather Service in Las Vegas, the warning particularly affects conspicuous vehicles on east-west roads, including US Route 95 and State Route 163. Motorists should prepare for difficult driving conditions as dust and debris may be kicked up Reduce visibility.
