“Yellowstone” is over – at least in its original form – after five seasons. Viewers tuned in to learn more about the fate of the Dutton family ranch. “Yellowstone” Season 5 Episode 14, Part 2 airs Sunday, December 15 at 8/7c on Paramount Network.

Although the episode was expected to serve as a series finale, Rip and Beth will continue after the end of “Yellowstone” as Kelly Reilly (Beth Dutton) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) have reportedly finalized their contracts to reprise their characters new “Yellowstone” spinoff, USA Today reports. According to reports, Yellowstone will live on in a new form and the original cast will return.

“The truth is that there is nothing final or set right now,” Reilly said at the time. “We just want to end this chapter of ‘Yellowstone’ because it deserves it. We talk a lot about the future, but I just want everyone to see these last six episodes as their finale. And then if there is a future.” And if Taylor (Sheridan) writes something else for us, we both said we would be there.

You won’t be able to stream “Yellowstone” episodes on Paramount+, the platform announced, and it won’t be available on any of the service’s subscription plans. Why isn’t Yellowstone on Paramount+?

Is this the end of the Yellowstone franchise?

While Sunday’s episode marked both the season and series finale of flagship show “Yellowstone,” it’s not the end of the story for the Dutton family. The second season of the prequel “1923” was recently announced for February 2025. According to multiple reports, a third prequel show, “1944,” has been announced.

Finally, it is rumored that the sequel “The Madison” with Michelle Pfeiffer will feature some members of the cast of the current series. The premiere is scheduled to take place sometime in 2025. There is also more talk about a spin-off starring Beth and Rip. All of these shows will be available on Paramount+, unlike Yellowstone.
