Yuengling beer will be available in Chicago, Illinois next year, continuing its expansion in the Midwest

POTTSVILLE, Pa. (WLS) — Yuengling announced Wednesday that it is continuing its expansion in the Midwest and will begin distributing its beers in Illinois in early 2025.

Yuengling Traditional LAGER, Light Lager, Golden Pilsner, Black and Tan and FLIGHT by Yuengling, the next generation of light beer, will be available in the coming months, DG Yuengling & Son said in a press release.

“For years, we have seen overwhelming demand for our portfolio from our most loyal fans in Illinois, who eagerly await the arrival of the brand,” said Wendy Yuengling, chief administrative officer and sixth-generation family member. “We are incredibly proud to announce our expansion into a great beer market like Illinois in the new year, and as the oldest brewery in America, we look forward to fulfilling our commitment to providing high-quality beer drinking experiences across the state.”

Yuengling will first be available in draft form in Illinois in late January, with additional distribution and packaging efforts to follow in the following weeks.
